Mirage & Concept…Where do I begin? If Hip Hop is dead, then they are MC’ing/Producing zombies. Mirage’s smooth wordplay mixed with Concept’s nostalgic production reminds me of growing up during the Golden Era. An era when lyrics had purpose, and the beats reflected that purpose. If you don’t remember, then these albums will refresh your memory. Both albums are just as good so make sure to grab both.

Sixteenth The U.P. and I been making music together since the beginning of 2006. His riddle rhymes, funny punchlines, and abstract style caught my attention in a freestyle cipher. His clever wordplay followed with bright smile of self-satisfaction grasped your attention and kept it there until he was finished. Also a producer, I taught him alot about FL Studio, which he picked up quickly on. Before you knew it, he would walk around the block in the Deep Valley with his laptop playing the new beats he made, just as cats of my generation did so with boomboxes. However, we really connected in the middle of 2006 when he got the news that he was becoming a father. From that point on, we spent countless hours in the lab (garage) constructing beats, writing songs, and trading ideas and concepts for future projects. His lady, Ms. Moe, also contributed to our projects by blessing us with her voice. I watched the Unknown Poet(U.P.) grow into the Unspoken Prophecy, which is what you hear today. Don’t take my word for it however, listen for yourself….
